Fixed vendor strategies - 07/02/07

Cisco has introduced its new software strategy: all software modules (firewall, NAC security, VOIP, anti-virus, etc ) will be included in the firmware, but activated on demand with dedicated software keys. Cisco has also introduced new SONA-based (Service oriented network architecture) platforms for routers (3750 and 3760 routers) and switches (3560 and 3529 switches).
