Vendor results - 2/7/05

Oracle reported FY04 results. Net income rose 3% to $ 1bn; revenues grew 26% to 3.9bn (of which $ 3.1 in software).

RIM reported net income of $132.5m, up 141%, while revenues soared 68% to $454m.

3com posted a net loss of $ 58m, up 200%, on revenues of $177m, down 3%.

Nokia is expected to beat its own 2Q05 guidance in sales and earnings.
