Motorola reports disappointing 4Q06 results. 4Q06 revenues were $11.8bn, up 17%, while net earnings were at $624m, down 48%.

JDSU has pre-announced 4Q06 revenues and earnings better than expected. Growth is coming from test-and-measurement division and not from optical component revenues.

IBM announced a growth of 11% in 4Q06 net profit to $3.5bn, while 2006 revenues grew 7.5% to $26.3bn, of which 68% (or $17.8bn) are made of service contracts (+55%).
