Sagem (France – Safran Group) reports €2.1bn in 2006 sales, down 7.5%.

Intel posts 4Q06 net profit down 39% to $1.5bn, on revenues of $9.7bn, down 5%. During 2006, Intel earned $5bn on revenues of $ 35.4bn.

Sony Ericsson has announced strong results: 4Q06 net income rose 210% to €447m on revenues of €3.8bn, up 64%. Sony Ericsson shipped 26m units in the quarter and increased its market share to 9%. For the year 2006, results are excellent too. Revenues were €11bn (up 51%) and net income rose 184% to €997m. For the year, Sony Ericsson delivered almost 75m units.

Apple reports 4Q06 revenues of over $7.1bn, up 25%, driven by iPod sales, and net income of $1bn, up 77%. Results far exceed forecasts.
