Vendor results - 11/11/06

Acme reported 3Q06 revenues of $22m, jumping 229%, and net income of $6.8m, ve loss last year. 9-mo revenues were $60.4m, up 158%, and net income reached $18m. Acme raise about $84m in an IPO of about 10m shares.

Nortel announced 3Q06 revenues of $3bn, up 17%, and net loss of $99m, vs net loss of $136m last year.

Sonus said its 3Q06 revenues grew to $75m.

Bookham reported lower-than-expected results with loss of $23m (vs loss of $0.5m), on revenues of $56m (-10%). As a results Bookham shares fell 12% in after-hours trading.

Cisco posts record, better-than-expected results in 3Q06. Sales were up 25% to $8.2bn and net income was up 28% to $1.6bn.
