CDMA survey - 28 May 2005

CDMA survey: new figures were published by the CDMA Development Group. Total number of CDMA subscribers rose to 256.6m and this number is expected to grow to 300m by year-end. 168 m are currently using CDMA 2000 networks (3G technology from 1x to EV-DO). Asia remains the largest market with some 110m users, just ahead NA with 97m. LATAM is the fastest growing region with 38% rate to 46m users.
