Nortel will provide a trial HSDPA solution to Partner (Israel).

Marconi is deploying its OMS1664 multiservice optical platform in Germany's E-Plus mobile network.

Alcatel has signed a partnership with TMN (Portugal) to deliver a games content provisioning service for mobile users. It will also supply a new GSM/GPRS mobile network expansion to Hola Paraguay.

Nokia is helping The Bridge Networks (Australia) to launch a mobile TV trial. Nokia is delivering the end-to-end solution, including infra, mobile phones and servers. Nokia has supported Taiwan Mobile for the initial launch of Taiwan's first 3G WCDMA service.

Gemplus will supply T-Mobile with its 3G SIM platform.

Siemens will help Vietnam Telecom Services Company (GPC) upgrading its GSM network, and has won a $50m order from Orascom's Banglalink (Bangladesh) for a GSM network.

Ericsson has signed a $150m contract with Russia's largest mobile operator MTS to expand its GSM network, and received an order from Orange Dominicana for the expansion of its GSM/GPRS network.

ZTE is deploying the first CDMA digital trunking network in Europe for NMT in Norway.
