IBM unveiled a new Enterprise communication strategy

In what could be described as Communicating any time, anywhere, on any network, IBM is launching new Enterprise communication services. A dedicated division, called ICS for Integrated Communication Services, will deliver innovative services to all its customers, multinational or SMEs. It will deliver a broad choice of customized solutions, including consulting, design, deployment, integration and operation. Two solutions are currently available. The first is Network convergence services, to analyze customer' s network ability to support triple-play services, with applications such as web conferencing, unified messaging, IP call centers, ..etc. The second is IP telephony services, focused on designing, deploying and managing IP Voice infrastructure.

The new ICS division includes Converged Communications Services, Networking Strategy and Optimization Services, Mobility, Wireless and RFID Services, and Network Integration and Management Services.
