1H06 telecom revenues (fixed and mobile) reached €7.9bn, up 3.5%, of which mobile revenues account for €4.1bn. Fixed line evenues fell 4.6%, but the number of access lines grew to 37.2m (up 6%) thanks to VOIP. More than 4.2m VOIP subscribers account for 14% of fixed telephony. There were 10.5m broadband access lines at the end of March, and more than 2m local loop unbundled. 48.6m subscribers (+8%) have chosen a mobile line, and 64% of them are prepaid; about 1.5% have chosen a MVNO operator and 40% of new users choose a MVNO. There are three cellular operators and about 10 MVNOs in the French market.
