Lucent will provide its IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solution to KPN (NL), and an advanced DWDM optical network to Japans NTTPC.

Huawei has been awarded phase II IPTV contract by Maroc Telecom.

Nortel is providing a NGN Voice over IP, entertainment and broadband services to COMCOR (Russia), and an optical network to Golden Telecom (Russia). It will supply a VoIP and Multimedia solution to Swisscom. Associated with Craig Wireless, Nortel will provide a WiMAX network in Greece.

Siemens won an IPTV middleware contract from SES AMERICOM (US).

Italtel (Italy) is providing voice over IP (VoIP) services and solutions to Arcor (Germany).

Cisco' s CRS-1 Carrier router has been selected by KT (S. Korea).

Alvarion will provide a WiMAX BreezeMAX 3500 platform to CallPlus, New Zealand.

Amdocs has been awarded a contract extension by Japan' s Jupiter comm.

Redback wins large contract in China to deploy NG broadband networking systems in 22 of 32 Chinese Provinces . It will also supply next-generation broadband networking systems to True Corporation (Thailand).
