UTStarcom reported 1Q05 sales of $902m, up 45%, of which $ 316m in the new Personal Communications Division, formerly Audiovox Communications. Net income was $38m, down 31%. The PAS business is expected to decline 40%-50% to $2bn this year.

InterDigital posted revenues of $36m, up 7.5%, and a net loss of $0.9m (vs. profit).
