Vendor results - 02/07/06

Motorola 2Q06 earnings results to be issued on 19 July.

Huawei has set its targets for orders and sales revenues at USD 10.7bn and $8bn for 2006. In 2005, Huawei realized $6m in sales and $8bn in orders.

RIM reported FY 1Q07 revenues of $613m, up 35%, but earnings were down. RIM currently has 5.5m subscriber accounts. RIM’ stock rose 4.6 %.

Palm posted FY4Q06 revenues of $403m, +20%, and profit of $27m, up 53%. Palm shipped about 630k devices in the quarter. Palm' stock went down 12% on news of next quarter guidance.
