Tyco Telecom received a submarine system contract to build a link connecting the Sakhalin Islands to the TransTelecom (Russia) mainland network.

Ericsson has secured a DSL national order from Bayantel (Philippines), and an EDA VDSL2 (Ethernet DSL Access Very-High-Bit Rate Digital Subscriber Line 2) deal with SingTel (Singapore).

LogicaCMG won an €70m outsourcing deal with Belgian brewer InBev SA for a 5-year period.

Juniper Networks is providing Swedish utility Telge Energi its E320 Broadband Services Router and the SDX-300 Service Deployment System to create its new broadband access network.
