Martin Taylor, Microsoft' s CEO advisor on strategic and long-term projects, is leaving.

Telstra plans to cut 2600 jobs over next two years. This is part of a plan to cut 12,000 positions over the next five years.

HP said it will cut 15,300 jobs (10% of its workforce) as part of a previously announced restructuring plans.

Jens Alder, former Swisscom CEO, will become TDC CEO as of November 1, while current Danish TDC CEO Dyremose steps down and will become Chairman.

Nortel has appointed former Broadcom executive, John Roese, as its new CTO.

E-Plus (Germany) plans to cut 1400 jobs out of 3000-strong workforce.
