Nokia has started shipments of its N72 handset. N72 is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and integrated digital music player, an integrated browser, and an FM radio.

Motorola plans to invest $60m over two years to make Singapore its global supply chain center,

HTC (Taiwan) has bought all of phone vendor Dopod for $150m.

Ericsson tries to expand its position in businesses with a new deal with Microsoft to provide better integration between handsets and business software (Outlook, .”click to dial”., ..). First applications could be available in fall.
