Mobile SP evolution

Mobile service provider evolution:

Strategy Analytics found that mobile operator profit margin is declining, while subscribers numbers reached record. On average, profit margin fell below 40% for the first time in two years, when subscriber volumes rose by 24%. Those figures lead to an average margin per user (AMPU) declining by 15% to a low $11.4. Central & Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific (China) figure out the heaviest declines (above 15%) while the US and Europe only reported a 3% decline. Mobile operators are now aware they have to increase ARPU, cut their cost of customer acquisition (CSA) and cost of customer retention (CSR) as well as cutting operational costs. But ten or fifteen years ago, was the situation similar in developed countries? I will not be surprised. It seems a pure mechanical process, during take-off, when acceleration is max, you necessarily burn max fuel. This does not mean you do not have to check and control your speed and position.
