Nokia will deliver the world's first commercial DVB-H mobile TV platform to Finnish Digita.

EADS Atrium has won a contract from ESA (the European Space Agency) for developing and constructing a communications satellite, called HYLAS. The satellite will cover 22 countries in central and west Europe, and will offer interactive broadband services and interactive HDTV.

Cramer won Completel' s order (France) for its Cramer6 OSS Suite.

Siebel' s Oracle won Completel' s order (France) for its CRM Applications

Alcatel has been selected by T-Online Hungary, with Microsoft, as the suppliers for an Internet protocol television (IPTV) solution. It will supply a VOIP solution to Telecom Egypt. It will supply FTTU gear to 4 service provider networks in Sweden, as well as Taiwanese operator Sparq.

Lucent will provide a multi-vendor operations support system and a new Network Operations Center to KazakhTelecom.

Cisco was selected by Telefonica Germany for extending and upgrading its network for voice over IP (VoIP) services.

Microsoft will supply Telecom Argentina with its Customer Care Framework 2005.

Motorola is supplying Sweden's national public safety radio communication network (RAKEL) with TETRA systems.
