Vendor results - 06/05/06

Dassault Systems posts an increase of 29% in its 1Q06 revenues to €256m and of 33% in its operating income to €61m.

JDSU reports 1Q06 revenues of $315m and a net income of $3.7m. Optical revenues amounted to $128m (+16%); test & measurement revenues were $127m (down 13%) and Commercial and consumer revenues were $61m (+3%).

Cisco is expected to report strong results next week. Earnings could amount to 26 cents a share, while sales could grow 16% to $7.2bn
