Siemens results

Siemens reports net income of €887m, up 14%, on sales growing 21% to €21.5bn. Orders rose 22% to €24.4bn. The COM division reported sales of €3.3bn, up 6%, and a profit of €27m, down 75%. Com’ s Carrier Networks business delivered most of the Group’ s sales growth year-over-year, as pricing pressure and shifts in sales mix resulted in flat sales in the Enterprise Networks business and a decline in sales in the Devices business.
