Siemens has got an ADSL2+ modems order from Optus (Australia), and got voice-over IP technology order for UPC Broadband in Eastern Europe (Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia).

Siemens, Nortel and Lucent were contracted to build a NG converged network for Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan).
