TOT (Thailand) and Chunghwa (Taiwan) are partnering to develop a 150-channel broadband Internet network in Chiangmai.

Three largest US MSOs (Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Charter) are trialing WiFi hotspot connections. Each one has its own strategy: Comcast is teaming with T-Mobile USA, TWI is building its own infrastructure and Charter is counting on a Wi-Fi wholesaler to deliver roaming coverage to its cable modem subscribers.
