Microsoft motivated on voice and video

Microsoft outlined its vision of extended IP communications capabilities, and specially by adding VOIP across Windows Live services on a worldwide basis. Demand is there and already more than 20m people are using voice on MSN  Windows Live Messenger every month. So its strategy will be to push products out before the end of the year, with among others a PC-to-PC or PC-to-phone voice or video service working directly from e-mail. Microsoft is also working with Philips (for Europe) and Uniden America (for NA) to introduce phones allowing PC-to-PC and PC-to-phone calls using Windows Live Messenger or traditional telcos.
