Worldmax (NL) will gradually open its WiMAX 802.16e network in Amsterdam (NL).

T-Mobile Germany announced it will sell the iPhone 3G for as low as €1 with a plan worth €69 a month with a commitment for 24 months. Everywhere mobile operators are planning to subsidize the new iPhone, and consequently, prices for old iPhones are evolving. As an example, Orange will cut the 8Go version to €99 from €399!!!

Sonera, part of Teliasonera in Finland, announced it will start migrate customers in low-density areas, from fixed networks to wireless networks from 02/2009. Fixed broadband access will be switched from 10/2010.
