Alcatel has consolidated its second position on the IP aggregation router with more than 25% market share, according to Synergy Research. Alcatel has more than 100 customers in 50 countries.
Alcatel said it has formed a partnership with IBM allowing the companies to offer Alcatel' s internet-based telephony software along with IBM' s BladeCenter range of servers.
