Broadcom bought privately held Zeevo, a Bluetooth chipmaker, for $ 32m.

 

Siemens could merge its SBS division with Atos Origin. The combined entity could reach

Europe’s second rank with about $9bn in revenues.

 

Amdocs unveils its IP Convergence Solution for IPTV systems. Amdocs is working with an

extensive IPTV partner ecosystem, including Bitband, Intel, Kasenna, NagraVision, NDS,

OpenTV and Orca Interactive, but also with Microsoft.

 

Motorola introduces VoIP-enabled VT2000 Series home network gateways. It has invested

in A4Vision Inc., a provider of 3-D facial-scanning and -recognition software and equipment.
