According to Strategy Analytics, the mobile industry should be serving 2.5bn subscribers by the end of the year and 3.5bn by the end of 2010. At that time, mobile service revenues could reach $800m. Strategy Analytics also predicts that Africa could become the leading growth market in 2006.
