Nokia has signed a long-term purchase agreement expansion with Endwave. Endwave provides radio frequency subsystems that enable the transmission and reception of data signals in broadband wireless systems.

Samsung expands its distribution agreement with InfoSonics in Latin America to add Paraguay and Uruguay (in addition to Argentina).

Pantech (S. Korea) targets to increase its handsets sales in the US by 43% this year to about 10m units.

Verizon Wireless is launching music service, jointly with Microsoft, to compete with iTunes service from Apple.
