James Bond has attracted initiates (remember “Mission Impossible” movie). A UK company (of course), called Staellium, has launched self-destruct message service. After 40 sec., StealthText causes messages to be deleted from a recipient's mobile phone as soon as the recipient has read the message. After downloading the service, users type in a code prior to sending messages to send a self-erasing text message. Here, however, targets are not spies or special agents, but more executives sending sensitive information. A question however, if used by terrorists, does the system fits with recent anti-terrorist data storage measures?
