3G / HSDPA

3G WCDMA networks are going very high speed (80%, or 144 of the 182 commercial 3G networks): 23 networks are currently 3G+ at 7.2 Mbit/s; additional 52 are 3G+ at 3.6Mbit/s, and 69 at 1-2 Mbit/s. Other 45 HSDPA networks are in various phases of roll-out and testing, bringing the total to 189 in 82 countries, with probably 160 in commercial operation by the end of the year.
