Users won’t pay for VoD

According to German terrestrial broadcaster RTL, VOD customers would not pay for content that they can reach for free on terrestrial TV. Furthermore, VOD users would not accept advertising on a VOD service. So, if confirmed (but RTL is an expert), the business case for VOD will be largely different from what was expected, and will be more like existing premium services.
