Sonaecom (Portugal) reports a 1H07 net loss of €4.8m on revenues up 4.4% to €428m. EBITDA fell by 6.2% to €76m.

Telefonica posts good results: revenues rose 6.5% to €14.8bn, while net profit doubles to €1.4bn in 2Q07. It reported revenues of €27.8bn, up 11%, and net income of €3.8bn, up 66%, in 1H07.

Iusacell (Mexico) announced a 27% growth in Q2 revenues to $222m, an EBITDA rising 32% to $9m, and a net income of $95m vs loss of $82m last year.

LG Telecom (S. Korea) said its 2Q07 net profit rose to $59m (vs loss last year), its operating profit was down 11% to $91m, on sales of $1.26bn, up 18%.

Verizon reports 2Q07 net profit up 4.5% to $1.7bn, while operating revenue rose 6.3% to $23bn.

DoCoMo reports a 25% drop in 2Q07 profit to $1bn, on revenues down 3% to $9.9bn. DoCoMo, however, left unchanged its stated earnings outlook for the fiscal year.

KDDI has increased profit by 9% to $683m on revenues of $7bn, up almost 6%. Its operating profit rose 16% to $1.2bn.

DTAC (Thailand) has posted a 13% increase in its 2Q07 net profit to $47m, on revenues rising 38% to $536m.

SFR (France) announced 2Q07 revenues of €2.3bn, up 4.6%, of which €$635m from Maroc Telecom.

Telenor reports 2Q07 net profit of €488m on revenues of €3.1bn, up 5%.

TIM Brazil announced 2Q07 net profit of $18m, reversing a loss of $123m last year; revenues of $2.2bn, up 40%, and EBITDA of $265m, up 44%.

ATT' s net income increased 5% to $1.9bn, on revenues of $29.5bn.

Vodafone reports impressive quarterly results with revenues of £8.3bn, up 7.5%, in the quarter, with revenues for the EMAPA (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa) division growing over 40%. Its customer base was boosted by its Indian operation.

Vivo (Brazil) posts a 2Q07 net loss of $61m, vs a loss of $266m last year, on revenues of $1.6bn, up 15%. EBITDA was $342m, double of 2006 figure.

Teliasonera reported a 9% drop in 2Q07 net profit to $570m, on revenues up 5% to $3.6bn.

TPSA (Poland) said its 2Q07 net profit fell 9% to €138m, on revenues of $1.3bn, down 3%.
