Publié le par Jean Arnal

The European mobile broadband market is growing exponentially with demand fueled by declining prices and improving performance. The growth rate in 2007 should be around 40%-50%, from $1.1bn and 3.2m units of PC-cards and USB-modems. CAGR during the period 2007-2011 would be around 23% to reach $3bn by 2011. The access market lion share would continue to be HSPA and legacy standards with about 90% market share. Mobile WIMAX is not foreseen to impact the European market in the coming five years.
