Infonetics has unveiled its latest Broadband Aggregation Hardware and Subscribers study. Worldwide DSL port shipments were up 4% in 1Q07, while broadband aggregation hardware revenue is slipping 13% to $1.5bn. IP DSLAM ports are increasing their market share to reach over 70% at the end of the year (from 50% in 2006), and related sales have jumped 29% qoq. ALU leads the market with a 27% market share, followed by Huawei and ZTE. EMEA and APAC account for 75% of the market.
