China Mobile will set up 3G networks in eight cities and introduce HSPA for the Olympics Games in Beijing.

Celtel (pan East-Africa operator) is expanding One Network, it's borderless mobile network, across Central Africa (Congo, Gabon, RDC).

MTN Uganda has launched a WiMAX-based mobile broadband service.

Vodafone UK has launched mobile internet access from mobile phones.
