Telecom Argentina said it has launched a 3G service in Buenos Aires.

M1 (Singapore) has launched its new mobile email service working over its GPRS network and GPRS-enabled handsets.

Telenor has increased to 30% (+3.3%) its voting stake in Vimpelcom (Russia).

Globacom (Nigeria) has received approval to launch 3G services in the country.
