ALU has received an order from Trento' s Tecnofin Immobiliare, for building an urban Wi-Fi network in Italy. The network will provide 1600 WiFi access points. It announced that it’s continuing an existing alliance with T-Systems, with the convergence of voice and data networks. ALU will equip DB' S-Bahn Berlin urban railway system with an IP/MPLS network solution.

Siemens won Algerie Telecom' s WLAN order for business customers.
