Motorola has won a TETRA contract with the Munich Airport.

Huawei : another big footprint in Europe with the selection by FT for supplying UMTS equipment. It replaces Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola in Romania, Nortel in Belgium. It has completed its CDMA2000 1x mobile network expansion for CAT Telecom (Thailand). It has received a contract from Mobitel (Sri Lanka) to install 800 additional GSM base stations. It will deploy a 3G CDMA 2000 network in Irak for Iraqtel.

Aicent will provide DoCoMo with its Roaming Exchange (GRX) service for 3G roaming.

Ericsson is in talks to participate in a new round of testing for China's TD-SCDMA standard with China Mobile in five cities. It will provide Orange Netherlands with managed services covering operations, rollout and field maintenance of the Orange mobile network. It has completed the update of Finland' s DNA 3G network.

Alcatel-Lucent has entered into an agreement to provide Softbank Mobile (Japan) with 3G mobile HSDPA access network.
