Nokia and Ericsson have been selected by T-Mobile USA to deploy its 3G national network. T-Mobile expects to spend $2.6bn over three years to upgrade its network to 3G.
Ericsson and Nokia have been selected by Indosat (Indoesia) to deploy a 3G network. Ericsson will provide core and radio networks, Nokia will supply integration, turnkey services, network and managed services.
Sierra Wireless will supply Bouygues Telecom (France) with 3G PC data card.
ZTE has signed a $700m deal with Relaince Telecom (India) for 2G and 3G base stations, and 2.5m CDMA phones.
