Analyst Corner: the US market crisis heavily hit the telecom sector with most companies showing their capitalization dropping in few hours. On the Black Monday, as an example, Apple shares lost 17% and RIM stock dropped 12%. Both were struggling to recover before the end of the week.
CSFB cut ALU share price to €7 (currently under €3 and down about 50% from Jan.1); Oppenheimer lowered its price target on RIM to $90 (down 10%) while CSFB cut its share price to $80 (down 20%); R.W. Baird upgraded Tellabs and RBC lowered Apple share 30% to $140 (the share is down 46% since Jan 1.).
