Huawei has signed an agreement with Etisalat (UAE).

Ericsson has inked a contract with Far EasTone (Taiwan) for HSPA expansion. It will deliver its mobile softswitch solution to Telstra (Australia), as well as to Celcom (Malaysia). It will be the sole supplier of network upgrades (HSPA) for HK' s SmarTone Vodafone.

ALU will build a WiMAX network in the US for Craig Wireless (California), another WiMAX network in Haiti (Cap Rouge), and another one for Entel in Bolivia. It is providing managed services to Mobily (Saudi Arabia).

ZTE has signed a network infrastructure equipment Global Framework Agreement (GFA) with Vodafone.

NSN will expand BSNL (India) rural broadband access to more than 25,000 villages, and supply its Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution to Sprint.

Nortel is providing PalTel (Palestine Telecom) a carrier-class VoIP solution.
