NSN will expand Megafon' s 2G infrastructure, as well as 3G upgrades, under a €320m contract. It has received a $935m contract from Saudi Zain for rolling out a 2G and a 3G network. It has delivered rural broadband networks to Sterela Wireless (USA)

Ericsson has signed a managed services deal with TDC (Denmark) to manage, develop and modernize TDC' s entire mobile network. Lenovo is its first HSPA module customer. Aircel has ordered an hosted consumer push e-mail service.

Huawei has secured a large 3G core network in Saudi Arabia for Etihad Etisalat. It announced it has completed a CDMA2000 network rollout in Indonesia for Telkom, as well as China Mobile' s long distance network upgrade. It also has received a GSM-R contract from China' s Ministry of Railways for the high-speed Guangdong-Shenzhen-Hong Kong passenger transport railway.

Aircom will provide network planning and consultancy to all the regional operators in the MTN Group across Africa and the Middle East.

Motorola will supply a TETRA network to the Bilbao city (Spain).

Amdocs announced hat Effortel (Belgium) has deployed its Compact Convergence suite.

NeuStar announced that Vodafone has selected it as its principal partner in the roll-out of mobile Instant Messaging solutions.
