Starent Networks has been selected by Iusacell (Mexico) for its ST16 Multimedia core platform.

Ericsson provides its U360 mobile platform to ASUSTeK Computer (Taiwan) for HSPA PC card. It will deploy Claro (Brazil) 3G/HSPA network. Mobilkom (Austria) will expand its 3G network with Ericsson. It will be the sole supplier of a nationwide GSM/3G/HSPA network expansion and upgrade in Chile for EntelPCS. It will upgrade Partner (Israel) 3G network under a $64m deal. It will provide mobile payment service to eight network operators across India.

NSN selected by Telenor Srbija (Serbia) to build its WCDMA network across Serbia. It will provide a service delivery platform solution to AIS (Thailand). It has been selected by Teliasonera Denmark for a 3G/ HSPA network upgrade order. It has completed the unification and expansion of the T-Mobile Austria and tele.ring networks (following acquisition) in Austria. It will supply a GSM network (worth $150m) to Idea Cellular (India) in the Bihar region.

ECI Telecom will expand China Unicom Zhejiang mobile network.

Amdocs' s OSS selected by Kyivstar (Ukraine).

Openwave Systems awarded by Vodafone Spain for OpenWeb and Secure Content Management (SCM) solutions.

Huawei will provide AlbTelecom (Albania) a 3G -ready infrastructure with service to be opened in March 2008.

ZTE is providing CDMA and AWS handsets to MetroPCS (USA). It will provide a GSM1800 network in Iceland.

Intec has secured a billing contract with Vimpelcom (Russia).
