NSN won a new GSM-R contract in China: the Hefei- Wuhan railways line, passing through the Anhui and Hubei provinces. It will also expand China Mobile ' s Beijing GPRS core packet network. NSN has been selected by Italy' s Conad supermarket chain new MVNO for providing managing, hosting and charging services. It has sold over 50m mobile phones in China in the nine first months of 2007. It will be the sole supplier of Telenor Srbija ' s 3G network in Serbia.

ALU has signed another 3-year contract with MetroPCS (USA) for providing outdoor and indoor base stations in new markets, maintenance and professional services. It will provide the first commercial 3G HSPA network in the Caribbean to SETAR. It has started a mobile TV trial with 3 Italy and RAI with DVB-SH based technology. Sonofon (Denmark) ordered managed business communications from ALU.

Huawei and NSN are the appointed winners for Optus (Australia) 3G/HSPA network roll-out, and for Urktelecom (Ukraine) 3G WCDMA network and for femtocell equipment.

Huawei provided 3G infrastructure to Nova/ Industria in Iceland. It has been selected by T-Mobile to provide packet switched core networks (PSCN) in five European countries (the UK, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands).

NEC will supply DoCoMo with with Super 3G base station kit.

AsiaInfo is upgrading China Mobile' s Business Operation Support System (BOSS).

Ericsson has sold its new Base Transceiver Station (BTS) Power Savings feature to Vodafone Germany.
