HP reports good results, thanks to good PC sales (+31%). Net earnings were $2.2bn, up 28%, on revenues of $28.3bn, up 15%. FY revenues were $110bn.
NextWave posted a 3Q07 net loss of $108m (triple from a year ago) on revenues of $18m, up 166%.
Ericsson projects poorer 4Q07 and similar conditions in 2008. No surprise that the stock continues to dive (42% this year). Ericsson also said it is extending its deadline to pay its supplier bills to 90 days in a move to improve cash-flow.
ALU is poorly considered by the financial community too, with the share diving over 54% in 2007 to €5.1.
Fujitsu reports FY1H results with consolidated net sales of $21.8bn, up over 6%, operating income of $382m, down 15%, and a net loss of $81m. The Technology segment sales rose 5.5% to $13.1bn in spite of lower sales of mobile base stations and optical transmission systems. The Ubiquitous Product Solutions segment (including mobile phones) sales were up 8.8% to $5bn.
Fujitsu is maintaining its fiscal 2007 forecast unchanged at $47bn in revenues and net income of $565m.
