Publié le par Jean Arnal

ATT Wireless reports revenues up 14% to $11bn, and delivered an excellent quarter. ARPU once again grew in the quarter to $50.8 (for the fifth consecutive quarter) and mobile data revenues jumped 64%, and data ARPU now accounts for 20% of the global ARPU. ATT is increasingly aggressive on its 3G plans, and currently has about 11% of its customer base with 3G-equipped handsets, an unusual position (outside DoCoMo or 3G-only operators). ATT added 2m new customers in the quarter, and also managed to cut its overall and postpaid churn rates to respectively 1.7% and 1.3%.
