A few set of market information released this week:

  • According to In-Stat, US broadband consumers prefer converged voice services and would be ready to pay up to $20 per month for the service. CVS services would generate over $8.6bn in the US by 2011.

  • Juniper Research found that about 52m would pay for goods and services by mobile phones by 2011.

  • According to Evans Data Corp, Google leads location-based services development, ahead of Microsoft and Nokia, with almost 40% o developers preferring using Google technologies.

  • According to Infonetics Research, mobile backhaul equipment market would reach $8.2bn in 2010.

  • IMS Research' s new report says that the market for W-CDMA handsets is forecast to dynamically grow with a CAGR of 22% over the next five years.

  • According to Ovum RHK, the global enterprise Ethernet services market would grow at a CAGR of 21%, reaching $31bn by 2012 (from $10bn in 2006).
